Catch 22 Catch-22 by Joseph Heller is an interesting bracing in the fact that throughout the entire novel the darn seems to go nowhere. It just seems to be a bunch of events thread together through the main character Yossarian. These events, however powerful, bustt seem to lead to much of a point, until the ref finishes.
